There is this sort of innocence to their relationship, not because they haven’t had sex, but because neither of them know what to do with the depth of their feelings for each other. Nevertheless I am ready to forgive this. One of the charming aspects of this book is the set of workarounds that the two develop at the very end of the volume, as they try to share their developing love seems pretty far out, given their obvious differences!

Wow I love this book, Richelle Mead keep giving me more reasons to love her. The characters are addictive and fun – and they always come up with something beyound belief.

The others and I had once been mortal; we measured our lives in centuries or millennia. No matter what religion or walk of life you come from, this remains pretty constant.

But it’s his patience and self control that has me swooning. I understood but I just hated it! I loved Georgina so much more in this one.


This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. I liked this book more than I thought I would. She could use help finding out, but Bastien, an irresistibly charming incubus and her best immortal friend, is preoccupied in the suburbs with corrupting an ultra-conservative talk radio star—and giving Zuccubus some highly distracting come-hither vibes.


Oh, and that final scene. Talk about buzz kill! It had to be the flush. I want Seth for myself.

You could read them out of order but I strongly suggest not Silence fell, save for the sound of cards and money hitting the table. Her vodka snobbery especially amuses me. Not good ones, at least.
